Abstract

Lifestyle owned by the people of Surabaya tend to choose new products that are more effective and have its own advantages. The purpose of this study is to determine the determinants of the adoption of sharia banking service to customers of Surabaya. Based on the result of qualitative research and factor analysis testing that has been done then it can be concluded there are 26 factors affecting customers in the selection of sharia banking service again into eight groups of factors. Eight groups of factors that will be used as variables in the next research. These eight factors include bank reputation, operating system professionalism, profit sharing, bank service facilities, compatibility 1 (suitability), compatibility 2 (fitness suitability), employee knowledge and communication channels. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling and data collection methods through interviews to nine informants and using questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents sharia banking customers in the city of Surabaya. This study also use SPSS 16.0 for windows with factor analysis. Key words : Adoption, Bank Reputation, Operating System Professionalism, Profit Sharing, Bank Service Facilities, Compatibility 1 (Suitability), Compatibility 2 (Fitness Suitability), Employee Knowledge And Communication Channels.
