Abstract

Compensation, motivation, work environment and style of leadership is an important factor in efforts to develop human resources in improving employee performance. This study aims to determine how much influence the compensation, motivation, work environment and style of leadership to the work of job performance will be the task. The data used in this study are primary data. Respondents in this study were 40 persons who are employees of PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya by using software SPSS version 16.0 was used for test validity and reliability, normality test, linear regression, and hypothesis test. The results showed hypothesis testing found that the variables work environment effect on employee performance, while Testing the hypothesis the variable does not affect the employee performance is the compensation, motivation and leadership style. This shows work environment variables have an influence that can improve the performance of the employees, while the compensation, motivation and style of leadership variable should be considered again in order to create a conducive working atmosphere.
