Abstract
The design of the sign system at PT Temprina Media Grafika was motivated by the need for a clear, structured visual information system that supports the activities of a large-scale printing company, because the existing sign system was still limited in terms of quantity, material, and effectiveness of information delivery. This study uses the main concept of Protection which is interpreted as protecting information to prevent errors in navigation and supporting work safety in high-risk areas such as production rooms and warehouses. The method used is descriptive qualitative through observation, interviews, literature studies, and data analysis to find specific needs in the field. The design results produce four main sign categories, namely Identification Sign, Directional Sign, Information Sign, and Regulatory Sign, with a modern, minimalist, and consistent visual approach to the company's identity, as well as the addition of Augmented Reality (AR) innovation in the production area to present interactive information about work procedures and safety. This design is expected to facilitate navigation, increase safety awareness, and strengthen the professional image of PT Temprina Media Grafika as a modern printing company that is adaptive to technological developments.
