Abstract
This study aims to prediction the status of the bankruptcy of food and beverage companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2010-2013 by using Altman z-score method and Springate method. Various methods that used in this research are Altman z-score method and Springate metho. Sample in this research are 12 food an beverage companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2010-2013. This research used analysis Altman z-score method, Springate method with helped Microsoft Excel and statistical package the social science (SPSS) 16.0. While the Altman model was found 6 food and beverage companies are in bankruptcy position until 2010-2013 and the Springate model was found in 2010, there are two company. Zero company was found in 2011, two company were found in 2012, one company was found in 2013 Models of Springate were in bankruptcy position. Keywords: Altman Z-Score Method, Springate Method, and Bankruptcy.
