Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of debt policy (DER), dividend policy (DPR), sales growth (SG) and investment decisions (PER) on the firm value (PBV) of the metals and similar subsectors listed on the IDX. This research is a type of quantitative research. The data used in this research is secondary data. The population used in this study are all metal and similar sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017-2021. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling, in order to obtain a sample that met the criteria of 70 samples with 9 samples that had to be outliers, in order to obtain a final sample of 61 samples. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of multiple linear regression analysis in this study indicate that debt policy (DER) has a positive effect on firm value, dividend policy (DPR), sales growth (SG), investment decisions (PER) have no effect on firm value.
