Abstract
Financial bookkeeping is required as a record of every transaction that occurs. Financial bookkeeping is the basis for making financial statements. Based on data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation at TPQ Al-Hikmah, it shows that the bookkeeping carried out at TPQ Al-Hikmah is still manual, so it takes a long time to make financial statements. The purpose of this research is to help TPQ Al-Hikmah's financial accounting process to be faster with the application of the Microsoft Excel application and the development of increasingly sophisticated technology to help facilitate human work. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with the results obtained, namely the design of financial bookkeeping using Microsoft Excel, which can simplify and speed up the process of financial accounting and financial reporting.
