Abstract
The government seeks to improve the welfare of the community, one of which is the economic sector. Through the government’s program from the economic sector, that known as the people’s business credit or KUR, that be expected for the community could easily develop their business. So that people’s lives will be prosperous. This study aims to explain the factors that can caused bad credit in the provision of people’s business loans at Bank Jatim, Brondong Lamongan sub-office. In this study, researchers used data collection techniques, interviews and observations. Interviews were conducted with the Bank Jatim’s credit analyst staff at the Brondong Lamongan sub-branch office. The results of the study, there are several factors that caused bad credit in the provision of KUR including bank internal factors such as the use of funds provided, business declines, economic conditions, force majeure, availability of payments, and willingness of debtors to pay installments.
