Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of capital, asset quality, liquidity and operational efficiency on profitability which is proxied by ROA at Sharia Commercial Banks. This study used purposive sampling with a sample of 12 Islamic Banks with the study period was 2016-2020, with the number of research samples was 57 financial statements. Technique of analyzing the data use classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression. Based on the results of multiple linear regression from the study, it shows that simultaneously capital, asset quality, liquidity and operational efficiency have a significant effect on profitability. Some asset quality and operational efficiency have a significant negative effect on profitability. Capital has an insignificant negative effect on profitability. Liquidity has no significant positive effect on profitability. Keywords: Profitability, Capital, Asset Quality, Liquidity, Operational Efficiency
