Abstract
Return On Asset (ROA) is one of the financial ratio which used to measure the profit percentage of banks. The purposes of this study are to evaluate simultaneously and partially the effects of fi-nancial ratios on profitability of the Foreign Exchange National Private Commercial Banks. The period of this study is the first quarter of 2016 until the second quarter of 2021. This study is used purposive sampling. Bank SBI Indonesia Tbk, Bank Ganesha Tbk, Bank Bumi Arta Tbk dan Bank Index Selindo Tbk are the samples of this study. This study is used multiple linear regression. The results of this study revealed that Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Loan to Asset Ratio (LAR), Invest-ing Policy Ratio (IPR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Adversely Classified Asset (ACA), Interest Rate Ratio (IRR), Net Open Position (NOP), Operational Efficiency Ratio (OER) and Fee Based Income Ratio (FBIR) have a significant effect on ROA, simultaneously. Partially, ACA and OER has negative coefficient and significant on ROA. LAR, IPR and IRR have negative coefficient and do not significant on ROA, partially. LDR, NPL and PDN, partially have positive coefficient and significant on ROA. Partially, FBIR has a positive coefficient and significant on ROA.
