Abstract
This study aimed to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of good corporate governance on corporate performance and value of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2011-2013. The variables used were the dependent variable is good corporate governance (Managerial Ownership and Institutional Ownership) while the dependent variable is corporate performance (ROA) and the value of the company (Tobin's Q). Population in this study are all go public companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The number of go public companies used as samples in this study is 15 companies for 3 years of observation based on purposive sampling method. The number of samples in this study were 45 annual financial statements obtained via the website's homepage Indonesia Stock Exchange. Hypothesis testing in this study using multiple linear regression analysis, model f test (f statistical test), hypothesis test (test t) and coefficient of determination (R2) Based on the analysis result, this study showed that (1) there is negative effects of good corporate governance on corporate performance, (2) there is positive influence of good corporate governance on company value.
