Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, board of directors, company age, sales growth, and intellectual capital on financial distress. In this study, financial distress is proxied by Earning Per Share. The population in this study are manufacturing companies with the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2015-2019. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method which resulted in a sample of 140 company data using secondary data. The data analysis method used is logistic regression analysis and it is processed using SPSS 25 software. Based on the results of the processing in this study, it states that managerial ownership, institutional ownership, age of company and sales growth have no effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, the board of directors and intellectual capital have effect on financial distress.
