Abstract
Bank is a financial institution which accepts deposits and distributes credit (financings) to the public. Bank has three main activities which consists collecting some funds, distributed funds and do the other financial services. The purposes of this study are to evaluate the effect of Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Loan to Asset Ratio (LAR), Investing Policy Ratio (IPR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Adverserly Classified Asset (ACA), Interest Rate of Risk (IRR), Net Open Position (NOP), Operational Efficiency Ratio (OER), Fee Based Income Ratio (FBIR), Return On Asset (ROA) and Net Interest Margin (NIM) to Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) simultaneously and partially. The subject of this study is a National Private Commercial Banks listed on the Inodnesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study used purposive sampling. PT Bank Capital Indonesia, Tbk; PT Bank Arta Graha International, Tbk; PT Bank Victoria International, Tbk are the samples of this study. The period of this study is the first quarter, 2016 until the second quarter, 2021. The results of this study revealed that LDR, LAR, IPR, NPL, ACA, IRR, NOP, OER, FBIR, ROA and NIM simultaneously have a significant effect on CAR. LDR, LAR, IPR partially have negative coefficient and do not significant on CAR. ACA, NPL, IRR, NOP, FBIR and NIM have a positive coefficient and also do not significant, partially. OER partially has a negative coefficient and significant on CAR. However, ROA has a positive coefficient and significant on CAR, partially. OER as the most dominant variable with the contribution on CAR is 14.44 percent. Keywords: Banks, Deposit, Credit, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR)
