Abstract
This study aims to measure the welfare of Kenanten Village residents and analyze the priority of giving zakat funds. This research uses mixed research methods, which is a mixture of qualitative and quantitative. The analytical method used is the Zakat Village Index with the Multi Stage Weighted Index technique. The method of data collection was carried out by interviewing parties directly related to the five dimensions of the Zakat Village Index and also direct observation. The results showed that the IDZ value of Kenanten Village was 0.71, which means that Kenanten Village is not prioritized for assistance and also means that maslahah of Kenanten Village is good. When viewed from the perspective of maslahah, Kenanten Village has prospered by applying each indicator in the IDZ. Keywords: Zakat, Zakat Village Index, Maslahah
