Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure, firm size, sales growth, and managerial ownership on the profitability of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The data collection method used was purposive sampling method from secondary data sources for 5 years, namely the year of the study period, the sample used in this study was 45 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of this study indicate that capital structure, firm size, sales growth, and managerial ownership simultaneously affect profitability. However, partially, capital structure has a significant negative effect on profitability, firm size and sales growth have a significant positive effect on profitability, managerial ownership has no effect on profitability.
