Abstract
People's Business Credit (KUR) is a working capital loan and/or investment granted to debtors, either individuals, business entities and/or business groups with a service fee level (interest rate) that has been subsidized by the Government. KUR was launched in November 2007 based on the issuance of Presidential Instruction No. 6 of 2007, which aims to expand access to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The role of MSMEs is very important in restoring the nation's economic equality which is now increasingly weakened due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Research data obtained through interviews, documentation, and literature review using qualitative and descriptive analysis methods. Based on the results of research and data analysis, the mechanism for distributing KUR at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The Larantuka Branch Office must go through several stages, namely the registration and/or credit application stage, the credit assessment stage, and the stage credit distribution.
