Abstract
Financial behavior is an attitude that is carried out by individuals in managing their finances. This study aims to examine the effect of financial experience, internal locus of control and income levels to moderate the effect of financial experience on family financial behavior. The sample in this study were 102 respondents who were selected based on purposive and convenience sampling with the criteria: minimum income of IDR 5,000,000 per month, domiciled in Surabaya, Gresik and Mojokerto. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling analysis on PLS (Partial Least Square). The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive effect of financial experience on family financial behavior. There is a significant positive effect of internal locus of control on family financial behavior. There is no influence of income on family financial behavior and the level of income is not able to partially moderate the effect of financial experience on family financial behavior.
