Abstract
Materialism, self control, motivation are key factors in the family financial behavior. This study examine the impact of materialism, self control and motivation towards family financial management behavior at Mojokerto, Sidoarjo and Surabaya. Total respondents are 222 respondents. The objective of research is (1) to analyze the impact of materialism on family financial behavior, (2) to analyze the impact of self control on family financial behavior, (3) to analyze the impact of motivation on family financial behavior. The data collected using survey technique, which is this study the data collected using convenience sampling and purposive sampling. The respondents are families in Mojokerto, Sidoarjo and Surabaya. We measure the families by using questuinnaire with a 5 point likert scale and use by software GeSCA analysis. The result are materialism and motivation variable toward no significanty impact to the family financial behavior, the main possible causes less respondent data. Although, self control variable toward significanty on family financial behavior at Mojokerto, Sidoarjo and Surabaya. Key Words:Materialism, Self-Control, Motivation, Family Financial Management
