Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of capital structure, company size, and liquidity on profitability in consumer goods sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The variables tied in this study were profitability measured using ROA. Free variables in this study are the capital structure, company size, and liquidity. The population of this research is 63 consumer goods sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2015-2019. Based on purposive sampling criteria, 34 companies were selected as samples of this research. The tests conducted in this study used descriptive analysis, multiple regression analyses, and hypothesis test using SPSS version 25. Partially, the results of this t-test showed that the capital structure had no significant effect on profitability while the size of the company and liquidity had a significant effect on profitability. Simultaneously, the results of this F test show that the capital structure, size of the company, and liquidity simultaneously affect profitability.
