Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and detect the effect of the managerial ownership, institutional ownership, public ownership, profitability, and sales growth on financial distress study in manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (ISE) in the year 2015-2019. The population of this research is all of manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange on year 2015-2019 there were 190 companies. The sampling technique using purposive sampling. The research sample consist of 80 companies with 388 unit analysis. The data analysis technique used in this research is logistic regression. The result of this research show that profitability has a significant negative effect to financial distress. Sales growth has a significant negative effect to financial distress. Managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and public ownership has no significant effect to financial distress.
