Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the capital adequacy ratio, operating costs, operating income and third party funds on the profitability of banks in Indonesia. The subject of this research is conventional banking which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2019. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. The data used are secondary data in the form of conventional bank financial reports. The data technique used in this study is multiple regression analysis using SPSS. The results of this research explain that the variable capital adequacy ratio and operating costs of operating income have an effect on bank profitability, while the variable of third party funds has no effect on bank profitability.
