Abstract
Family financial management is a priority in the welfare of a family. Currently there are still many traders who do not understand the importance of financial management, one of which is a cake craftsman. The purpose of this research is to find out, analyze and measure the way the cake craftsmen manage their finances based on the understanding of the majority of Muslims. The data was collected by interviewing ten informants from cake crafters in Krian Sidoarjo and ten informants from their families (husband / wife) to test the validity of the data. The data obtained were processed and analyzed using case studies, and their validity was tested. Based on the results of this study, a review in the perspective of sharia with the application of religious understanding, and family financial planning, namely setting aside a portion of the income received for savings, investment, business and obtaining long-term benefits that can benefit Muslims. and communities throughout Indonesia.
