Abstract

Profitability is one of the right indicators to measure the performance of a bank. This study aims to analyze whether liquidity, asset quality, sensitivity, and efficiency simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on ROA. This study uses secondary data taken from the documentation method. This data is taken from financial statements issued by the Regional Development Bank in the period 2014 to 2019. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Multiple linear regression is used for analysis. Based on the results of the analysis shows that the liquidity risk as measured by LDR has no significant negative effect and that measured by IPR has no significant negative effect. Asset Quality Ratio as measured by APB has insignificant negative effect and as measured by NPL has insignificant positive effect. Sensitivity Ratio as measured by IRR has no significant positive effect. Efficiency Ratio as measured by BOPO has a significant negative effect and as measured by FBIR is not a significant negative effect. BOPO recommendations for significant banks must implement policies to improve operational efficiency in order to increase higher profits, any increase in operating costs must be followed by higher operating income.
