Abstract
The research is a case study on the UPTD surabaya north. The purpose of this study which is to analyze contribution of motor vehicle taxes and the name behind of effort in increase revenue regional original. The research also held to find out the impediments that occurs in tax collection and the efforts that was conducted by the officer samsat and the local treasury office to initiate taxes. Technique of analysis that was used technique which is the collection of primary data by interviewing and data collection skunder by taking data that has become the uptd surabaya documentation north . An instrument the analysis used is qualitative analysis by explaining in detail and trend analysis to estimate tax the following year . In this research obtained the result that of PKB and BBNKB made a significant contribution in the improvement of revenue from the UPTD surabaya north . Key word: Motor vehicle tax, name behind the effotr, revenue regional original.
