Abstract

Bank is a business entity that collect funds of the public in the form of deposits and channel it to the public in the form of credit or the other form to improve the living standards of society. The aim of the study to determinant what kind of the indepedent variable (LDR, LAR, IPR, NPL, IRR, BOPO, and Size) that simultaneously and partially significantly effect for NIM and what is the most variable that influence NIM. the study used secondary data form Bank Buku 3 financial statements with period from first quarterly of 2014 until to second quarterly of 2019. Bank BNP Paribas Indonesia, Citibank NA, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank Mega, The Bangkok Bank Comp. Ltd, and Bank Permata as the sample of the study. Data is processed by SPSS 23.0 with F-test to evaluation the effect simultaneously and t-test to evaluation the effect partially. The results of this study indicate that LDR, LAR has no significant positive effect on NIM. IPR, NPL, IRR, and Size have no significant negative effect on NIM. BOPO has a significant negative effect on NIM. The influence of BOPO on NIM is the most dominant because it has partial determination, the coefficient of determination coefficient is higher than other independent variables partially.
