Abstract
ROA is one indicator that is used to measure profitability obtained by banks, ROA ratio shows how well the management of assets owned by banks to obtain profitability. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the independent variables of asset diversification, bank size, bank risk and efficiency both simultaneously and partially affect profitability. This study uses secondary data from Islamic commercial bank publication financial reports published by OJK in 2014 to 2018, which consists of BNI Syariah Bank; Bank Mega Syariah; Bank Muamalat Indonesia; Bank Syariah Mandiri; BCA Syariah Bank; BRI Syariah Bank; Bank Jabar Banten Syariah; Panin Sharia Bank; Bank Syariah Bukopin; BTPN Syariah Bank; Bank Victoria Syariah; Maybank Syariah Indonesia. The data is processed using SPSS 25 with F test and t test. the results of this study reveal that asset diversification, total assets, NPF and BOPO simultaneously influence ROA. As for diversification of assets and total assets partially do not have a significant positive effect on ROA, NPF and BOPO partially have a significant negative effect on ROA. the results of the coefficient of determination indicate that the independent variable diversification of assets, total assets, NPF and BOPO simultaneously has an effect of 77.3% and the remaining 22.7% is influenced by variables outside the study. Keywords : Asset diversification, Bank Size, Bank Risk, Efficiency, ROA
