Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the value of efficiency achieved by Islamic banking (Islamic commercial banks) in Indonesia. The samples included in this study were Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Bank BRI Syariah, Bank Mandiri Syariah, Bank Mega Syariah, and Bank Syariah Bukopin during the period 2011 to 2018 using the parametric method namely Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA). Data obtained from the annual financial statements of the banks concerned and obtained from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Perth calculates efficiency using cost efficiency. This research uses purposive sampling method. The results of this study are the Sharia Commercial Banks with the highest efficiency level are Bukopin Sharia Banks which have an efficiency of 92.62% and the Sharia Commercial Banks that have the lowest efficiency levels are Mega Sharia Banks which is at 71.84%. There is a regression model that results from calculations (TC = -7,606 + 0,081 lnP1 + 0,132 lnP2 + 0,882 lnP3 - 0,036 lnQ1. The results found that only funding variables have an impact on reducing total costs. The other variables based on the resulting regression model have an impact on the resulting regression model. at an increase in total costs. Key Word : Cost Efficiency, SFA, Islamic Banking.
