Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of family education and demographics on pension fund planning behavior in millennials with saving attitude as a mediating variable. Respondents from this study are 250 respondents in millennial generation and live in East Java. The technique used to analyze the data is Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using the help of the WarpPLS 6.0 program. The results of this study indicate that family education and saving attitude as mediating variables have a significant positive effect on pension fund planning behavior. While gender and marital status have a positive but not significant effect on insurance demand.
