Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of marital status, social security, saving motives, and company competencies toward demand on insurance with inclination to purchase as mediating variable. The number of respondents from this study are 242 respondents who has a minimum age criteria of 24 years and lived in Gresik, Bangkalan, Mojokerto, Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Lamongan. The technique for analyzing data uses Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using the WarpPLS 6.0 program. The results of this study explain that marital status has a significant positive effect on insurance demand, social security has a significant negative effect on insurance demand, saving motives has a significant positive effect on insurance demand, company competence has a significant positive effect on insurance demand and inclination to purchase can mediate the effect company competencies towards demand on insurance.
