Abstract
Banking is an institution that collects funds from the public in the form of savings and distributes them to the public in the form of credit or in other forms with the aim of improving people's lives. Banks have a very important role for the community, so banks must continue to improve their performance. The financial performance of a bank can be seen from the level of profitability or the level of profits obtained by the Bank. This study aims to analyze whether the variables LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, FBIR, and FACR simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on ROA. This study uses secondary data taken by the documentation method. This data is taken from the published financial statements for the first quarter of 2014 until the second quarter of 2019 at the Non-Foreign Exchange National Private Commercial Bank. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Data were processed using SPSS version 25. The results showed that LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, FBIR, and FACR simultaneously had a significant effect on ROA. APB and FACR variables partially have a significant negative effect on ROA. APB is a variable that has a dominant influence on ROA with a contribution of 8.70 percent. The sample banks that have the highest average APB are expected to further increase prudence in the distribution of productive assets and to the research sample banks that have the highest average FACR, it is expected to be able to process fixed assets more so that there is an increase in capital and increased income.
