Abstract
Financial management behavior become a very important at this time. This is related to the consumptive behavior in Indonesian and especially in Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Madura. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of financial knowledge, materialisme, and income of family financial management behavior. The sample consisted of 403 respondents who had a minimum income of Rp. 4.000.000 per month, married, and domiciled in Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Madura. Samples were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling on PLS (Partial Least Square). The result show that Financial knowledge had a significant positive effect on Family Financial Management Behavior, Materialisme had significant negative effect on Family Financial Management Behavior, and Income had significant positive effect on Family Financial Management Behavior. Key word : Financial Management Behavior, Financial Knowledge, Materialisme, dan Income.
