Abstract
The purpose of the study is to determine whether the financial performance affects the financial distress on mining companies listed on the Stock Exchange. Financial distress is the financial difficulties experienced by a company before the company become bankruptcy. The prediction of financial distress is necessary to anticipate a company into bankruptcy. While the company showed the signal will be bankruptcy, show the parties concerned such as managers, investors, and business owners will soon take a decision anticipated for bankcruptcy. Financial performance in this study using indicators such as financial ratio of Financial distress. The population in this study was all mining companies listed in Indonesia stock exchange in the periode 2012-2016. The sampleswhich were determined by purposive sampling technique are 155 datas. The Analyze of the data used SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) that conducted by choosingpls (Partial Least Square) as the model. The resultof this study shows that financial performance can affect the condition of financial distress at mining companies. Keywords:Financial Distress, Financial Performance, and Ratio Analysis.
