Abstract
Corporate value is one of the fundamental factors considered by most investors, because the value of the company is very important in determining the viability of company. This study aims to determine the effect of profitability and dividend policy on corporate value. The dependent variable used is firm value while the independent variables used are profitability and dividend policy. A banking company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2012-2016 is selected as a sample of this study. By using purposive sampling method hence obtained as many as 45 data from 9 banking company period 2012-2016. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis as analytical technique. The results of this study show that profitability and dividend policy does not affect the value of the company. Keywords : the value of company, profitability, dividend policy
