Abstract
This research examined financial literacy and risk tolerance to Family Financial Behavior. Financial literacy has to be owned by everyone. With high financial literacy, people can manage their financial well. Risk tolerance helps determining people characteristic in taking right decision in managing financial. The objective of this study is to examine whether financial literacy and risk tolerance affect family financial management behavior. Technique of sampling uses convenience sampling. Used sample is family in Surabaya with at least four million Rupiahs income in every month. Therefore, this research uses primary data. Data analysis technique uses GSCA (Generalized Structured Component Analysis). The result of this study shows that financial literacy and risk tolerance does not affect significantly towards family financial management behavior in Surabaya. Key words : financial literacy, risk tolerance, financial management behavior, family.
