Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of intrinsic motivation on performance, the influence of extrinsic motivation on performance, the effect of satisfaction on performance, the influence of intrinsic motivation on performance through satisfaction and the influence of extrinsic motivation on performance through employee satisfaction of PT. Lotte Mart Marvel Surabaya. The population in this study were 55 employees. The sample technique used is non probability sampling or saturated sample. A sample of 55 employees. The results of statistical analysis explain that intrinsic motivation influences performance, indicated by the original sample value of = 0.465, T-Statistics 5.553> 1.96 and P Value 0.000 <0.05, extrinsic motivation influences performance, explained by the original sample value of 0.333 , T-Statistics 3.220> 1.96 and P Value 0.001 <0.05, job satisfaction affects employee performance, this is indicated by the original sample value of 0.160, TStatistics 1.728 <1.96 and P Value 0.085> 0, 05, intrinsic motivation influences performance through satisfaction, this is indicated by the original sample value of 0.061, T-Statistics 1.352 <1.96 and P Value 0.177> 0.05, extrinsic motivation has no effect on performance through satisfaction, this is indicated by the original sample value was -0.013, TStatistics 0.489 <1.96 and P Value 0.625> 0.05
