Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effect of leverage, liquidity, operating cash flow and operating capacity to financial distress. The study population was the company various industry sectors listed on the Stock Exchange 2012-2016 period. Samples were selected by purposive sampling method each year from 2012 through 2016 in order to obtain 144 samples from 29 companies declared financial distress and 115 companies are not experiencing financial distress. This research uses descriptive analysis and logistic regression. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using logistic regression showed that leverage and operating capacity has significant influence on financial distress. Variable liquidity and operating cash flows show that does not have a significant influence on financial distress.
