Abstract
Financial management is an action to achieve financial goals in the future. Managing a healthy money needs some fundamental factor that needs to be improved, and one of them is financial literacy. Not only of financial knowledge, money attitude can also affect their financial management. Therefore, it needed enough knowledge and attitude on the money wisely in order to have good financial management. This research aims to test the influence of financial literacy and money attitude on family financial management. And if ethnicity can moderate financial literacy and money attitude on family financial management. This research is a quantitative research with a sample 0f 150 respondents. The characteristics of respondents such as those living in Surabaya, came from a family of Javanese ethnicity or Chinese, and they have minimum income of Rp.4.000.000. data analysis technique used is Multiple Regression Analysis. Based on the calculations and the resultd of hypothesis in known that financal literacy has insignificant positive effect on family financial management, money atttude have an insignificant negative effect on family financial management, ethnicity is unable to moderate financial literacy and money attitude on family financial management.
