Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the influence of capital structure and good corporate governance towards financial performance on companies goods and consumer listed at the Stock Exchange. This research is a quantitative research using secondary data. Sampling using purposive sampling technique that is specific sample selection criteria. Sample in this research as many as 15 companies in the period 2012-2014. Capital structure was measured using DER using a total debt divided by total equity, Good corporate governance is measured by using the number of independent commissioner and audit committee, financial performance is measured by using ROA with net income divided by total assets. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics test, test data normality, test multicoloniarity (correlation), test multicoloniarity (colinearity), autocorrelation test, test heteroskedastistas, hypothesis testing (test F, R2 test, and test t) using SPSS16.0 for windows , The results showed that the capital structure has no influence towards the financial performance, corporate governance (independent directors) have a positive influence towards the financial performance, corporate governance (audit committee) did not have any influence towards financial performance.
