Abstract
This research is meant to determine the impact of profitability, liquidity, company size and sales growth of the capital structure in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Samples of companies used in this research as many as 30 companies of consumer goods sector registered in IDX period 2015-2018. The analytical techniques in this study used multiple linear regression. The results of this research shows that the profitability variables have significant positive effect on the capital structure, the liquidity variables have significant negative effect on the capital structure, while the company size variables and growth have no Significant positive effect on the capital structure. Keywords : capital structure, profitability, liquidity, company size and sales growth.
