Abstract

CAR is one of indicator that used to measure the bank capital adequacy. Bank capital is used to absorb losses from banking activities, and as the basic of several policies issued by Bank Indonesia. The aims of this study to determine the influence of liquidity, credit, market and operational risk toward CAR simultaneously and partially.The independent variables are LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, BOPO dan FBIR, and CAR as the dependent variable. This study used secondary data taken from bank’s financial statements starting from the first quarter of 2013 until the second quarter of 2018 of Bank Umum Swasta Nasional Devisa Go Public. PT. Victoria International Bank, Tbk, PT. Sinarmas Bank, Tbk, PT. Bukopin Bank,, Tbk, and PT. Mayapada Internasional Bank Tbk as the samples of this study. This study data was processed using SPSS 23. The result of this study revealed that LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, BOPO, and FBIR simultaneously have significant effects on CAR, but partially only LDR, APB, and IRR have significant effects on CAR. IRR has the most significant effect on CAR. Keywords: Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), liquidity risk, credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
