Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of financial performance toward stock return simultaneously and partially on food and beverage companies which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The dependent variable in this research is stock return, while the independent variables are liquidity proxied by Current Ratio (CR), solvability proxied by Debt Equity Ratio (DER), profitability proxied by Net Profit Margin (NPM), and activity proxied by Total Assets Turn Over (TATO). There are 12 food and beverage companies used as total samples, all of which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. Using the purposive sampling, the multiple regression analysis (MRA) is chosen as the analytical technique. The result of this research shows that liquidity, solvability, profability, and activity have simultaneous significant effect toward stock return on food and beverage companies listed in Indonesia Stock exchange. Partially, liquidity and solvability have a negative and significant effect toward stock return, while profitability and activity have a positive and insignificant effect toward stock return.
