Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, dividend policy, profitability and liquidity on debt policy. This research was conducted on property & real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2013-2017. The number of samples used in this study were 48 companies with purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that managerial ownership, institutional ownership, profitability and liquidity variables have a significant negative effect on debt policy, while the dividend policy variable does not affect debt policy.
