Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of leverage, company growth, free cash flow and profitability on dividend policy on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this study were 51 Property and Real Estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2013-2017 period. The analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the variable leverage has a significant negative effect on dividend policy, while the variable for company growth and profitability has a negative and not significant effect on dividend policy. While the free cash flow variable has a positive and not significant effect on dividend policy. The implication of the result for investor is to put attention on the leverage of the company because companies that have a high level of liability will distribute low dividends to investors.
