Abstract
UD. Media Ilmu is a business engaged in manufakturing where the business has several fixed assets but this business does not apply the method of calculating depreciation of property and equipment owned. The purpose of this research is to assist the business in calculating depreciation of property and equipment dan comparing fixed asset accounting using straight-line method and declining balance method. The method used is interview with the owner of UD. Media Ilmu of fixed assets owned for business. The result of this research is to know the calculation of UD. Media Ilmu fixed asset using straight line method oand declining balance method. Keywords : Fixed Assets, Depreciatio, Profit and Loss
