Abstract
In this current conditions, many facilities and infrastructure that support activities and also the development of technology. This makes individuals have the desire to fulfill all existing technological developments. This excessive desire makes individuals trapped in high consumption behavior. If this consumptive behavior is not balanced with sufficient income, it will make individuals trapped in high debt. In addition, the behavior is divided into two factors, that is external factors and internal factors. One of the external factors are lifestyle, financial knowledge and internal factors is ethnic factor. Based on this phenomenon, this study aims to determine the influence of lifestyle, ethnic factors and financial knowledge to financial management using analysis technique diferrent test , t-test and F test. Respondents were 100 people with the criteria of respondents living in Java and Bali, has a total income of Rp. 3,000,000 per month. The results showed that lifestyle, ethnicity, and financial knowledge had no effect on financial management Keywords: Based on the results of the study, Lifestyle, Ethnic Factors and Financial Knowledge have no effect on financial management behavior.
