Abstract
The financial report is a data that can provide a picture and information. The information provided is about the financial condition of a company at a given time or at a certain period. Financial reports are analyzed to know what is the meaning of the numbers listed in the financial statements, making it useful for the wearer. In addtion, the company from year to year, and the results of analysis can be used to assess the peformance of the company. The purpose of this study is to determine the perfomance of PT Pos Indonesia Cabang Surabaya Selatan viewed based on the liquidity ratio and solvency in 2016 and 2017. The results of this study shows the liquidity ratio of the year 2016 and 2017 is measured using the current ratio and cash ratio. In the year 2017 show good results and 2016 show less good. The solvency ratio in 2016 and 2017 measured using the Debt to Assets Ratio and Debt to Equity ratio. And the results are shown in the year 2017. From this study the researchers suggest to PT Pos Indonesia to maintain liquidity and control of assets owned by better. Keywords : The financial statements, PT Pos Indonesia
