Abstract
The purpose of this study is analyzing the relationship between educational level, financial experience and attitude toward retirement with mediating behavioral intention on retirement planning in surabaya. This study involves 349 people in Surabaya who are a financial manager. Samples were selected using cluster sampling technique, classifying Surabaya into five parts and each region determined by quota sampling with 20% proportion and using purposive sampling technique. This study is tested with WarpPLS. The result of this study shows that financial experience, attitude toward retirement and behavioral intention have a positive significant impact, while educational level have a negative significant impact on retirement planning and behavioral intention partially mediates between attitude toward retirement on retirement planning.
