Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of good corporate governance on firm value. This research used quantitative. This study using secondary data such as financial statements and annual report were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchage (IDX). This research using the company’s food and beverage sub-sector as the study sample. This study used purposive sampling method in determining the sample and multiple linear regression analysis to examine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. Good Corporate Governance in this study is proxied by institutional ownership, manajerial ownership, audit committee and independent directors. Total sample were 50 obvervation. The result of this research showed that institutional ownership and manajerial ownership have positive effect but not significant, audit committee has negative significant effect and independent directors has positive significant effect on firm firm value. Key words : value of the firm, institutional ownership, managerial ownership, audit committee, independent directors.
