Abstract
The purpose of this research are to test and analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, firm size, and assets structure on capital structure. This research used manufacturing consumer goods industry sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2016 as population. The research sample was determined by the method of purposive sampling method in which 33 companies meet the sampling criteria. This research used description analysis and multiple linear regression method to test the contribution of each variable influencing of capital structure. The results of this research are showed that profitability, liquidity, firm size, and assets structure simultaneously has significant effect toward capital structure. Profitability have negative and significant impact on the capital structure. Liquidity have negative but not significant impact on capital structure. For firm size and assets structure have positive and significant impact on capital structure. Keywords : Capital Structure, Profitability, Liquidity, Firm Size, Assets Structure.
