Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect firm size, leverage, dividend policy, and profitabilityagainst firm value.Firm value is the market price of the company's shares formed between the buyer and seller at the time of the transaction, because the stock market price is considered as a reflection of the value of the company's real assets. This study aims to examine the effect of firm size, leverage, dividend policy and profitability on firm value. The subject of this study uses mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2012-2016 period. The data used is secondary data derived from annual financial statements. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, so that it was obtained 14 mining companies that met the criteria. Data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that leverage has a negative effect on firm value, while firm size, dividend policy and profitability do not affect the value of the company.
