Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of good corporate governance and financial ratios on financial distress in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2013-2015, which meet the requirements of 42 company samples, the sample was selected by purposive sampling, every year from 2013-2017 210 samples were obtained. This study uses logistic regression analysis, Loglikehood Ratio-2 test, Cox and Shell's R Square and Nagelkerke's R, Hosmer Test and Lemeshow's Goodness test, and classification tables using SPSS 23 program. The mechanism of good corporate governance in this study includes the board of directors, board of commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, in this study financial ratios include company size, liquidity ratio, leverage ratio. Based on the results of this study showed that the board of directors, board of commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, company size, liquidity ratio did not affect financial distress, while the leverage ratio had a positive effect on financial distress Keywords: financial distress, good corporate governance, and financial ratio xv
